The purpose of the association is for local service providers of the LGM people to meet and share information and promote a better understanding of the LGM culture. This will allow service providers to bridge gaps and reduce barriers as they help LGM families adapt to their life in Canada.

SAKA may act as a fiscal agent for special projects and/or funding opportunities as approved by the committee.
